Strategic decision: B. Braun divests Colombian provider business
B. Braun has decided to sell its provider and hospital services business in Colombia. Effective March 16, the local company Grupo Uros will take over all dialysis centers including their approx. 230 clinical employees. B. Braun has provided high-quality dialysis care to up to 2,000 patients over the last eight years.

Fiscal year 2021: B. Braun increases sales in a challenging environment
The B. Braun Group increased its sales in FY 2021 by 5.8 percent year over year, to €7,859.9 million (previous year: €7,426.3 million). Thanks to extraordinary efforts, B. Braun was able to ensure delivery capability to its customers, even with significant added pressure on the supply chains.

Changes in the B. Braun SE Executive Board: Dr. Meinrad Lugan moves to the Executive Board of the family holding company
Effective April 1, 2022, Dr. Meinrad Lugan will change from the B. Braun SE Executive Board to the Executive Board of affiliated company B. Braun Familienholding Verwaltungs SE at his own request as part of a planned generational change. Dr. Lugan is thus giving up his responsibilities for the Hospital Care division.
